DEREK'S THOUGHTS
If I could be honest for a second, I have always wanted to design a website for a pub. The reason being, I enjoy reading about beers and have always wanted to write about them. This website came out of the blue. As I was creating the website for the Manchester United Suppoters Club of Canada - London Branch, I needed something to advertise the headquarters, The Scot's Corner. I started with a simple page but then one page became two, three and an entire website. I showed it to the owners and they bought it. I really like the pub, the owners and the staff so I am pleased they like the website.

For this website, I though about Billy, the owner and a rabid Rangers fan along with the Scotish colors. Billy liked the Rangers blue so I went with that as a background along with the traditional Scottish red. For business like a pub, one must keep it simple so I created the navaigation with only four pages. The main page's flash scroller outlines the main elements of the bar while the beer page highlights the many beers they have on tap. Of all my websites, some more complicated, I really like this simple layout. - Derek
