DEREK'S THOUGHTS
I seem to get lucky with getting really nice clients. Not only nice but passionate about their work. That was definitely Marie from JOY Abounds Yoga. This contract started off strange. Marie signed up for the small business deal and already had an idea for a logo. It was this tin figure she had in her studio. I took it home, photographed it, made it high resolution, created a logo, made the entire website and print materials. Then, she found out the tin figure was a trademark. So to save her money, instead of me designing a bunch of new ones, I sent her to iStock for a vector-based image. She found one and the project was back on.

For this project, it was just a matter of finding out what Marie wanted and narrowing design elements down. She was very easy to work with, always smiled and I must say, it was a pleasure. I hope you enjoy the new identity.
